George KandylisFirst officerGreekGeorge joined the marine industry back in 2004 as a 2nd Officer on cargo ships and began yachting in 2017. As a result of his hard work and dedication, he was quickly promoted to chief officer. To expand on his knowledge, George has attended many seminars and holds a Master Class A’ Unlimited Diploma, in addition to many more certificates. Tender handling, cranes handling, anchoring, mooring operations and navigation are some of his many skills. His love for the sea began at a very young age as his father and grandfathers were fishermen. George is well-versed in watersports. Outside of yachting some of his favorite activities include hiking, running, drawing, making drone videos and video editing.

Iakovos MonoyiosSecond officerGreekIakovos is a highly motivated and adaptable individual striving for the advancement of his personal and professional skills. With his calm demeanor and his problem-solving attitude, you can rest assured that you will have a stress-free charter experience. He holds a Captain Class C’ diploma from the Merchant Marine Academy in Syros as well as other certificates in advanced fire-fighting, ship security, medical aid and survival craft.

Miltiadis PetsasChief engineerGreekMiltiadis holds a Certificate Engineer class A’ since 2013 from the Marine Engineer Academy of Aspropyrgos as well as other certificates in engine room management & simulator, tanker safety, Ro-Ro passenger and Ship Security Officer. He has gained an extensive experience in the Yachting industry in the past 14 years working as Chief Engineer on board numerous Luxury Charter yachts. He joined Totem crew in the beginning of this year, and we are certain that with his skills and personality he will become a valuable member of our team.

Vasilis ZiouvasBosunGreekVasilis is a certified Bosun and a craft pilot license holder. He studied Electronic telecommunications and first started working at sea 10 years ago as a Deck Crew for Sea Jets Highspeed passenger ships. He then made his transition to yachting where he worked on board luxury private & charter yachts. He has strong communication, time management and leadership skill and is great at multitasking. His advanced knowledge of marine vessels and his strive for excellence make him a valuable member of our crew.

Nasos GrammatikosCaptainGreekCaptain Nasos graduated from the Greek Merchant Marine Academy of Crete and holds a Captain Class B’ Diploma from the Ministry of Mercantile Marine. He commenced his career as an Officer on commercial tanker vessels where he gained extensive sea experience of world cruising areas. In 2007 he decided to move to another sea-related career in the yachting industry. He is known for his high level of expertise and professionalism and, this season, with extensive knowledge of the Mediterranean destinations, he provides guests with the ultimate yachting experience.

Since then, her passion and dedication for her new job just keeps growing. She loves making pretty table displays, and her aim, is ensuring every single person onboard, owner, guest and crew alike, are well taken care of. She is easy going, detail oriented and leads by example. She is a true team player and loves being part of a team. She is a happy, caring, kind, optimistic and a very hard-working individual.

Theodoros ChazapisEngineerGreekTheodoros holds a 2nd Engineer License and all the STCW certificates including Engine Room Simulator Training, Advanced Firefighting, Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats, Medical First Aid and Engine Room Resource Management. He also holds a Motorboat and Skipper license. In his previous work in the Shipyard, he conducted routine maintenance, and repair work on various yacht systems, including engines, electrical, and plumbing. Assisted in the refurbishment and restoration of yachts, contributing technical expertise to enhance vessel functionality and appearance. He can safely operate and navigate both motor and sailing boats, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for guests. He aims to provide exceptional customer service, offering insights into local points of interest and maritime knowledge.

Michail TsourvasChefGreekChef Michail has more than 10 years experience in some of the most elite and well-known restaurants worldwide as well as 5 years in the Yachting industry. Two years ago, he won the 2nd place award in the Mediterranean Yacht show Chef competition in Nafplion. He is extremely disciplined and detailed oriented and passionate about implementing the best of international cuisines. He graduated in 2008 from Le Monde Institute of Hotel & Tourism and then retrained at Ecole Sup Erierue de cuisine Ferrandi.
